Ioanna is the AI Solutions and Data Science Manager at Opix, and a research associate at the Athena Research and Innovation Center. 

At Opix, her role centers on designing custom solutions in collaboration with clients and leading cross-functional teams for the implementation of these solutions, ensuring they effectively address the distinct challenges and objectives of each client. Her approach integrates complex data analytics to support informed decision-making across various industries and policy areas.

Ioanna holds a B.Sc. in Applied Mathematics and Economics from Brown University, an M.Sc. in Econometrics from the London School of Economics, and a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Minnesota. Prior to her current roles, she was a research economist at the Max Planck Institute and has taught various undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
