EU Industry and Industrial Ecosystems (ATI)

The ATI project aimed at leveraging data-driven insights to analyze and benchmark companies across diverse domains, including agrifood, textiles, and tourism.
Our work began by collecting vast amounts of data from multiple company websites, ensuring a broad and representative dataset. To refine this raw information, we implemented advanced boilerplate removal techniques and thorough data cleansing processes, which allowed us to isolate meaningful content and remove irrelevant or redundant elements. With the clean data as a foundation, we applied topic modeling algorithms to uncover underlying themes and categorize the information effectively. Furthermore, we identified and cataloged each company's social media presence, creating a detailed map of their online networks and communication channels. A key aspect of the project involved assessing each company's contributions to critical modern challenges, specifically measuring their impact on green transition and digital transition initiatives. This holistic approach not only provided valuable insights into individual company efforts but also allowed us to analyze broader trends within and across industries, offering actionable intelligence for stakeholders and policy-makers. Through ATI, we demonstrated the power of combining robust data processing methodologies with cutting-edge analytical tools to drive meaningful progress in sustainability and digital transformation.
